Enjoy a Wonderful Day in the Country:
Tour the 25th historic buildings, see demonstrations of trades of old, farming exhibits, music throughout the village by members of Pickin' Up Speed and the Tinker Boys. Aromas of the wood stove baking bread and cookies in the Summer Kitchen will invite patrons, to see what's cookin'. Crossroads Encampment with frybread will represent the history of Saukville. "My First Tractor Rides" will take place in the corral and there will be hay wagon rides through Hawthorne Hills Park. Author, Danielle Grandinetti, will give a presentation on the Milk Strikes of the 1930's and Immigrants to Ozaukee County.
